Bill Foster, who now has over 25 years’ experience in the welding and fabrication industry, set up the company WKF 98 in 1998.

Starting as a sole trader, Bill quickly expanded his customer base, employed a small workforce and, after some steady growth, WKF98 became a limited company in 2003. After many years of trading from a small rental workshop in Seamer, the decision was made to purchase our own premises to enable further expansion and, after a period of renovation, we are proudly operating from our site in Brompton-by-Sawdon where we cover Yorkshire and the East coast.  We also regularly work on projects around the UK and overseas.

We now have over 15 employees that include welders, fitters and machinists and our premises incorporates a fully equipped workshop, machine shop and paint shop along with a fleet of vans for on site work.
